By accessing or using CareerCraft AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CareerCraft AI is a web-based platform for creating, editing, enhancing, and sharing professional CVs. Features include AI-powered bullet enhancement, ATS scoring, job description tailoring, visiting card generation, and recruiter visibility.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 16 years of age
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Paid Plans

• Premium: Annual subscription with basic CV features
• Pro: Annual subscription with advanced features including JD tailoring, video intro, and recruiter visibility
• Ultimate: One-time lifetime payment with all features

Prices vary by region and are displayed at checkout. Annual plans auto-renew unless cancelled.

5. Payment & Billing

• Payments processed through secure third-party providers
• All prices include applicable taxes as displayed at checkout
• You authorize charges for recurring subscriptions
• Failed payments may result in temporary service suspension

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on all plans — full refund if no AI services have been consumed. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all CV data and content
• You are responsible for accuracy and legality of your content
• You must not include false or fraudulent information
• Uploaded files are processed for extraction and immediately deleted
• Enabling recruiter visibility grants us license to display your CV to verified recruiters

• Creating CVs with fabricated credentials
• Identity fraud or impersonation
• Scraping, crawling, or automated access
• Distributing malware through uploads
• Reselling the Service without authorization
• Attempting to bypass payment or usage limits

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance may temporarily affect service. Advance notice will be provided for planned downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including job outcomes, data loss, or interruptions.

12. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Profile
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms
• Data deleted within 30 days of termination
• Lifetime plan holders retain access unless terminated for violations

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Significant changes communicated via email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
