• Uploaded Files: CV images, PDFs — processed and immediately deleted after extraction
• Profile Photo & Intro Video: Media you upload or record
• Payment Information: Processed by third-party providers. We do not store card numbers
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, device info

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create, display, and export your professional CV
• To provide AI-powered enhancements (bullet optimization, ATS scoring, JD tailoring)
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To enable recruiter visibility if you opt-in to the Job Bank
• To improve our services and user experience
• To send important account and service notifications

3. Job Bank & Recruiter Visibility

If you enable Recruiter Search Visibility, your CV is visible to verified recruiters. Protections:

• Your personal contact details are never shared directly with recruiters
• Recruiters can only send interest requests through our platform
• You control all communication
• You can opt-out at any time

4. Data Storage & Security

• CV data stored securely with encryption at rest
• Uploaded files deleted immediately after text extraction
• 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit
• Payment processing via PCI-compliant third-party providers

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

• With payment processors to complete transactions
• With recruiters only if you explicitly consent
• When required by law or legal process

6. Your Rights

• Access: View all data from your Profile page
• Export: Download your CV data as JSON
• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all data
• Opt-out: Disable recruiter visibility at any time
• Correction: Update your information through the CV editor

7. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to store preferences and session data locally. No tracking cookies are used for advertising.

8. Children's Privacy

CareerCraft AI is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
