This policy outlines the terms for cancellations, refunds, and credit adjustments on the CareerCraft AI Jobs platform.

Subscriptions

Cancel anytime. Access continues till period end. No partial refunds.

Per-Vacancy

Refund within 24 hrs if job not published. No refund after publish.

Credit Packs

Non-refundable once purchased. Valid for 12 months.

1. Subscription Cancellation

1.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by navigating to Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or by emailing support@careercraft.cc with your registered email address and a cancellation request.

1.2 Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period (monthly or annual).
  • You will retain full access to all plan features until the expiry date.
  • Auto-renewal will be disabled, and no further charges will be applied.
  • After the subscription period expires, your account will be downgraded to a free tier (if available) or deactivated.

1.3 No Partial Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable on a prorated basis. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a refund for the unused portion of the billing period. We recommend timing your cancellation close to the renewal date to maximise the value of your subscription.

1.4 Annual Plan Exception

If you purchased an annual subscription and wish to cancel within the first 14 days of the initial purchase (not renewal), you may request a full refund provided you have not posted any jobs or consumed any CV Bank credits during that period. This 14-day cooling-off period applies to first-time annual purchases only.

2. Per-Vacancy Refunds

2.1 Before Publication

If you have purchased a per-vacancy job posting and the job has not yet been published (i.e., it is still in draft status), you may request a full refund within 24 hours of the purchase. To request this refund, email support@careercraft.cc with your order reference number.

2.2 After Publication

Once a job has been published and is live on the Platform, the per-vacancy fee is non-refundable, regardless of the duration the job has been active or the number of applications received.

2.3 Platform Errors

If a per-vacancy charge was applied due to a technical error on our part (e.g., duplicate charge, system glitch), you are entitled to a full refund. Please report such issues to support@careercraft.cc within 7 days of the charge.

3. Credit Pack Refunds

CV Bank credit packs are non-refundable once purchased. Credits are delivered instantly upon payment and can be used immediately. Due to the digital nature of the product, refunds cannot be provided after the transaction is complete.

Unused credits from purchased credit packs remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Credits included with your subscription plan expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry over.

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

  1. Send an email to support@careercraft.cc from your registered email address.
  2. Include the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Account Email]"
  3. Provide the following details:
    • Order/transaction reference number
    • Date of purchase
    • Amount paid
    • Reason for refund request
  4. Our support team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
  • The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • For UPI and net banking transactions, refunds may take up to 5 additional business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

6. GST on Refunds

Where a refund is issued for a transaction on which GST was charged, the GST component will also be refunded in full. A credit note will be issued against the original tax invoice and made available in your account's billing section for your records.

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may:

  1. Escalate internally: Reply to the refund decision email requesting escalation. Your case will be reviewed by a senior member of our team within 5 business days.
  2. Payment gateway dispute: You may raise a dispute through your payment provider or bank. We will cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation and provide relevant documentation.
  3. Consumer forum: As a consumer, you retain the right to approach the appropriate consumer dispute redressal forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).

We strongly encourage resolving disputes through direct communication with our support team before pursuing external remedies.
